Monopoly

Eco term: A monopoly is a market supplied by a single firm.

Haha Currently learning market structures in economic class. Haha but that is not what i want to blog about. It just that one of the name of the market structures reminds me of a famous board game. Monopoly. During my younger days, I used to play it with my brothers. Sometimes, the game can be very interesting-when I monopolize most of the land and be rich =P and sometimes it can be really boring- when I am the loser and ended up having overdraft or owing other players. I still remember those days vividly. When I know I am at the verge of losing, I will just throw my remaining cash (probably just few notes of rm1 or rm5 at the banker) and say I DON'T WANT TO PLAY ANYMORE!! Haha what a loser.. haha but nobody will blame me because I was still a small girl that time. Who knows... all I know, they might have cheated my cash because I cant count so well that time.

My parents bought it as a tool for family bonding. Haha sometimes, probably twice a year when we whole family go for a holiday staying at some hotels, my brothers and I always remember to bring it. We are all so excited when my dad agreed to play it with us. We all knew who will win but we couldnt be bothered as long get to spend time playing with him. Mum will probably sit somewhere near the balcony, reading story book. I miss those old days. Now it is just mum dad with their works, big brother rotting at Utar, me doing-god-knows-what and my two younger brothers, in another dimensions with their computers. We all grown out from that carefree world and venturing into the money-technologylife-myownworld world. I also dont know what happened to the monopoly set, maybe in the dumpster already.
