Once upon a time, in a far country covered by snow all year around....
there was a noble knight who fell in love with a beautiful princess at first sight.
One day, he declared his love for her but unfortunately, the princess did not feel the same way as he did.
However, the princess said that she might love him and will marry him if he was able to stay at the palace gates for 100 days.
So the knight waited in front of the palace. Even through snowstorms, rains, heatwaves and everything in between for 99 days after hearing the princess' words.. he waited and waited. But on the 100th day..

He was not there anymore.
No matter how long he was willing to wait for her, the princess would not love him in return...
Even if he stayed there and the princess had kept her words by marrying the knight, the reason would be out of a promise and pity. Not love. The knight didn't want that, so he chose to let go. I'm sure you've heard something along the lines of when you love someone, let them go. If they fly away, they aren't meant for you forever. If they come back for you then...
they're yours alone.
I'm sure it was not easy for the knight to make that decision. He had been through a lot, after all. It would be a waste to walk away after experiencing all that. But it's better to let go now before he suffers spending an entire lifetime with someone who do not love him. However, one can argue that love can grow right? Even if the princess did not love him initially, she can learn to love him after they get together right? If that's the case, then the knight had missed his chance.- Yes, that might happen but there's no guarantee it will. If the princess managed to fall for him after witnessing his actions, she will be looking for him, right? Even after the knight walked away. This is why the 'we need to let go' part. But she's a princess, how can she look for him after that? He probably would've gone far away. - Well, if this happens.... The two of them just aren't meant to be together.Someone had said that "if two things are meant to be, they will ALWAYS find a way to each other." Perhaps this person was right? If we think logically, there's no point in separating things that belong to each other. You can't fit a square into a round hole. Even if you manage to squeeze it in, the gaps would still exist. A circle would've fit better. The question is.. how long will we take to find that perfect fit?

What do you think of the story? Some might think that the knight is foolish to walk away right at the end. He waited for 99 days right? So why didn't he wait for another day? Just one more day and the princess will be his.Others might think that the knight is a coward. He left so that he wouldn't have to face the fact that the princess might not love him even after he waited to the end of those 100 days. It's easier to wait and cling to a tiny glint of hope that he can win the princess heart than to face the harsh truth of rejection which will surely hurt more after waiting for so long. We wouldn't get a no until we've asked right? So what was the real reason the knight eventually gave up? His reason is simple really. He realized the truth:
No matter how long he was willing to wait for her, the princess would not love him in return...

This post is taken from my classmate's blog. ( WITH HER PERMISSION) All the words and effort finding the pictures © Chii [ website not found error 404] jus joking..her blog website wont be shown here due to privacy . It was really a good post, so i just wanna share it with the rest. If you love someone, let them go... I know it is damn hard to let go. Easier said than done.. but what's the point of sitting down mopping and emoing over the past? I always believed everything happened for a reason. Try to think what have gone wrong.. the one u loved might have left, what u can do now is make yourself better. If the one u loved is really meant for you, you will be together again. Before that happens, stop emoing, dont blame the one who dumped you, dont blame the world, take a step forward and move on.
LIFE YOUR LIFE!!!

Lol. The words are mine but the pictures are not. XD
