From the previous post

Yea..1k more to reach my target.. i was still calm as there was 7more hours for me to find 1k ONLY (well 1k is consider chicken feet because the items in Gintell majority cost 3k and above NOTE: most expensive item will be RM7988) so i only have to sell 1 foot massager only, thought can relax but time really passed super fast.. without noticing it was already 7pm of course i am panicking there. I was at the verge of giving out, then suddenly i saw 1 very potential customer, haha i managed to talk him into the shop, demostrated the chair, talked about the features and benefits and time to close the sales.. unfortunately he never brought his credit card *pissed* so i asked him to pay deposit first (asked him to pay 1k) and once again he said he never brings his atm card. So i kinda gave up cause i can see this guy here never had the intentions of buying. So bye bye to that customer. 8pm (super panic) trying my best to pull every passengers in to the shop however i failed miserably. My boss was being nice, keep encouraging me to go on and never give up. But 1 hour later, (lol) Michelle completely gave up. Haha i was just standing outside like a statue, all the sudden a couple walked towards me and Hello? can we have a look at the foot massager? I was dumbfounded awhile until the information finish processed into my brain immediately my expression lifted up and i reply OF COURSE!! However once again I do not have much luck as the customers felt that the foot massager was not as good as the 1 they tried at Otto (1 of Gintell's competitors) again..i dragged myself outside of the shop and stand like a statue. Then, once again, another couple walked towards me and asked for foot massager! Haha this time i tried my very best to convince the guy to buy it. (not as desperate as before) when the husband signaled me the green light hehehe time to attack the wife. Talked about the free gift and wa-lah i managed to get my hands on the their credit card!! Happily jumping to the cashier to make payment and and once again (i think God was playing the fool with me) the credit card declined. I was like what the hell??? My boss ensured me that there was nothing to worry about. (duh.. it already 9.30pm i will be awfully sad if i never passed the target) Then my boss took over, and talked to the customer and DONE!! Payment being made and byebye to my life saver customers. (i think they kinda fond of me--haha maybe i juz being ''perasan'') [if only they know that day was my last day, i am quite sure they wont purchased it from me] anyway thank you, Mr and Mrs customer!

And just you know why i was so desperate need to pass the target was

i worked 12 hours a day, 6 days a week

i miss 1 week of classes due to the 1 week notice to resign (2 weeks late was because of my inability to decide whether i wanted to study TCM or something else)

my basic salary is less than 1k (so it not so worth working at Gintell unless you get your commission) and my commission will be burnt unless i passed my target

Overall, i worked for 2 months in Gintell. It was a nice experience and a tiring 1 too. Plenty of stress builds up when you cant manage to sell the massage chairs. I learnt a lot of marketing skills too such as how to communicate with people, how to be careful when you meet some crazy fellows who wants your handphone numbers and disturbed you, and how to see signals and how to handle people's 1001 behaviours.

Michelle's biggest achievement in Gintell: i managed to sell a few massage chairs but the most expensive chair i managed to sell was RM6988. Yay! =)
